Matthew H. Chandler
Matthew H. Chandler has a wide range of experience in multiple areas of the law, including business/corporate matters, tax, real estate, litigation, divorce, probate, estate planning and bankruptcy. In his estate and probate practice, Mr. Chandler counsels individuals in estate and tax planning and represents fiduciaries in estate administration matters.
Mr. Chandler has handled tax controversies for closely held businesses and individuals and has experience representing individuals seeking protection under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Chandler also serves as Assistant County Attorney for the Shelby County Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Chandler is a native of Shelbyville, Kentucky. He received his J.D. degree in 2001 from the University of Kentucky. He earned his B.A., cum lade, in Accounting from Transylvania University in 1993.
Mr. Chandler serves on the Board of Directors of the Shelby County Community Theatre and the Shelby County Community Foundation.
